Orange County’s Lucky Strike in The Block shopping center doesn’t have a bar top with such an illustrious history, but it does have 18 public bowling lanes, six private lanes for parties, 25 TV monitors and five pool tables. Go big with bottle serve and get two hours of play on the house. You might not tell from looking at it, but Lucky Strike Bowl has been open since 1955. The bar top is the former lane number seven of the iconic bowling alley that sat in that location for 43 years before Lucky Strike took over. The Lucky Strike chain started in 2003 in the Hollywood and Highland center on the former site of Hollywood Star Lanes.

I sampled a few appetizers recently, and was impressed. COVID update: Lucky Strike Fenway has updated their hours, takeout & delivery options. I never equated bowling with good food, but Lucky Strike is changing my mind.
